Real data from the CQC and Companies House public APIs, covering the full CQC register of UK dental practices. Ownership shown as "unclear" means it genuinely couldn't be confirmed, not that the practice is independent. See README.md.

Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 September 2026

Please read these terms before subscribing. This site is intended for business and professional use (e.g. researching practice ownership for commercial, investment, or due-diligence purposes), not consumer entertainment.

1. The service

Dental Ownership Tracker is operated by [Your Company / Trading Name] ("we", "us"). We provide a searchable database of UK dental practice ownership information, built by cross-referencing the public CQC register against the public Companies House register (including the Persons with Significant Control register). Free users can see whether a practice is independent, part of a group, or unclear; subscribers additionally see the owning group's name and full ownership chain.

2. No warranty on accuracy

Ownership data on this site is derived entirely from public sources and automated name-matching — it is not independently verified, and it will sometimes be incomplete, out of date, or wrong. A practice shown as "independent" or "unclear" is not a certification of legal ownership, and a shown ownership chain is our best automated read of public filings at the time of the last data refresh, not a guarantee. This site is provided for general informational purposes only and must not be relied on as your sole basis for any legal, financial, investment, or commercial decision — always verify independently (e.g. directly against Companies House) before acting on anything shown here. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all warranties, express or implied, as to the accuracy, completeness, or currency of the data.

3. Subscription and billing

4. Cancellation and refunds

You can cancel at any time by emailing [insert contact email] — access continues until the end of your current paid billing period, and billing stops from the next cycle. We don't currently offer a self-service "cancel" button on the site itself; this is a known gap we intend to close with a self-service billing portal, but for now cancellation is handled manually on request. We don't offer refunds for partial billing periods already paid for, except where required by law.

5. Acceptable use

Full Access is licensed to you personally or to your organisation for your own internal use. You may not systematically scrape, republish, resell, or redistribute the data on this site in bulk, or attempt to circumvent the free/paid access controls, without our prior written permission.

6. Intellectual property

The compiled dataset, site design, and underlying code are our property (except for the underlying public CQC and Companies House records themselves, which remain subject to their respective owners' terms — see Companies House's terms and CQC's own data licensing terms).

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of, or reliance on, this site or its data, including indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so (for example, liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time; the "last updated" date above will change when we do. Continuing to use the site or your subscription after an update means you accept the revised terms.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them or from your use of this site.
